Indonesia recorded a trade surplus of USD 3.36 billion in September 2026, beating market expectations of USD 1.9 billion but down from USD 4.34 billion in the same month a year earlier. Exports increased 11.87% year-on-year, outpacing the projected 6.45% rise and quickening from 6.72% in August. Imports climbed 18.41% year-on-year, below the anticipated 20.83% and easing from 19.09% growth in August.
