In November 2025, Vietnam's retail sales rose by 7.1% compared to the same month the previous year. This represents a slight deceleration from October's 7.2% increase and is the slowest growth rate observed since October 2024. The deceleration was largely influenced by reduced growth in the accommodation and food services sector, which recorded a 13.6% increase compared to 14.1% previously, and other services, which grew by 7.2% down from 9.4%. Conversely, there was an uptick in growth for goods sales, rising to 6.0% from 5.7%, and tourism-related activities saw an increase to 19.1% from 18.8%. Overall, from January to November, retail turnover rose by 9.1% year-over-year.
